Cebu’s beauty and wellness sector is experiencing a remarkable boom, with both established and emerging brands aggressively expanding their presence to meet the growing demand for skincare and aesthetic treatments. Industry players note that the Philippines’ wellness sector is becoming a key economic driver, especially with rising interest in self-care among younger consumers. The Philippines’ beauty and personal care industry reached approximately $6.37 billion in 2024, with projections that it could climb to $11.05 billion by 2033, representing a compound annual growth rate of 5.8 percent[citation:4]. Skinplicity, a trusted name in beauty and skin wellness for over two decades, also unveiled two new branches in Cebu at SM J Mall and Ayala Center Cebu, featuring a cleaner, sleeker, and more contemporary aesthetic[citation:10].
